Moira New Build Garden Design and Construct with Artificial Grass

A lovely new build property that the homeowners wanted to make work for them from the outset, asked the builders to leave the area that would have been 'grass' so they could employ the services of ArtiGrass to help design and construct their outdoor space.

That is exactly what we did.

Firstly, we needed to clear the site of the the excess soil and original patio flags that were no longer required, then lay the founds for the steps and levels of the garden, construct and backfill them for drainage using a mixture of hardcores, bring in sharp sand, lay the paving of choice and then the artificial grass. The customers finished off their garden with lovely patio furniture and pots to compliment the new sleek and contemporary deisgn.

From Jungle To Rejuvenated

A large garden in North Belfast had become overgrown with brambles, weeds and long untamed grass. With small children, and a large unusable space ArtiGrass came in to help out. It required everything to be cut back and taken out, up over the decking through a small side gate. No diggers here! All manual labour indeed. Bringing back in a heavy bed of  half-inch stone, quarry dust mix, sharp sand and the lovely Albatros 30mm artificial grass to complete the transformation. Hello back garden. The kids can now come out to play and enjoy the rather park -like proportions of their yard finally.

Wee Care Day Nurseries Master Makeover

Wee Care Day Nurseries on the Antrim Road had a large barked area that was in constant need of replenishment. After a time the kids playing on this surface were coming in dirty from their outdoor play. The most efficient solution was to install artificial grass to eliminate this and the children are now able to play all year round. They also had an issue with ramp access and this was resolved with a decking installation, and then covered in golf grass to avoid the need for maintenance.

Artifical Grass 35mm Goes Down in Finaghy

All customers with children realise the importance of outdoor play, and as Ireland's weather isn't always the best for allowing children to run around on the grass, the solution is simple: Artificial Grass. No matter if it is damp, there will be no muddy patches, muck or balding. Let them run around in the rain without the mess.

Small Gardens Can Benefit From Artificial Grass Too!

A series of small gardens that have all benefited from the installation of artificial grass into the spaces.

A place for kids, pets and adults alike to enjoy all year round. Complemented by planting to continue to brighten the areas and feed the birds and the bees.

Swampy Gardens To Usable Spaces

Some gardens are just a wet swampy mess all year round, no matter how hard the home owners try to returf or reseed their lawns. For various reasons, they never get any better. Artificial Grass has definitely been the solution for these gardens.

Pets Who Love Their Artificial Grass

All of these lovely pets were continually coming in with mucky paws to dirty doors and floors. Now they can kick back, relax and lie out on the artificial grass lawn any time they want, in any weather and not bring the dirt in.

Ballygowan, Dromora and the Four Winds get Artificial Grass 40mm

These yards were laid with 40mm artificial grass. It is great for kids and adults alike, as the new manufacturing process has created a higher yarn density providing a softer more cushioned feel under foot with no need for a sand infill, allowing for a cleaner and very little maintenance required installation.

East Belfast and West Belfast take Artificial Grass 35mm

Both of these yards were constantly muddy and unusable, the dogs were helping with this. Now the pets can enjoy a mud-free yard too. 35mm artificial grass is the most pet friendly for the pile height and offering just the right thickness to imitate real grass. Non-sand infill makes it cleaner for both home owner and their pets.

Old South Belfast courtyard transformed into a contemporary setting

Our client asked for their walled patio courtyard to be transformed. An extension of their stunning interior to extend to their exterior. We provided them with a few bespoke garden designs and they chose to go with modern contemporary. Artificial grass runs into a Kota Blue Indian paving circle, where a bespoke floating fire was constructed and a screen erected in the extended patio area, all offset with complimentary black bamboo, and ornamental grasses against a grey canvas background. Mood lighting was installed to heighten the modern contemporary theme.

From dump to hotel swish - JOC01 (12/11/2012)

JOC01's avatar We had a small yard with decking and not much else. Paul and Ruth completely re-designed the space creating an area that is now the quality of a boutique hotel! Nothing was too much hassle and they worked really well with the budget. I couldn't recommend them enough, they were excellent and revisited the site weeks afterwards to ensure there were no problems. I would definitely use them again.

Belfast Royal Academy, Northern Ireland

Extra space required for a lunch patio area, created using Tobermore Tegula paving in heather, raised above the area to protect the tree roots as directed by the client. Two new shrubbed areas created at either side of the patio, along with new top soil and grass seed.

Castlereagh Hills receives the Lifestyle Excel treatment

With two small children to consider, it was a must to remove the shrubbed area, and the unsafe tired decking, to install an underground drainage system and usable surface free from muck, and replace with the very popular Lifestyle Excel 40mm artificial grass, complimented with more paving to increase their patio area.

A Must For An Easy Life - Kevin Finaghy (2012)

After years of garden problems, mostly as a result of poor drainage, I found Artigrass Landscaping & Building. Within no time at all I had a clear and well thought out design, a work schedule and a fair price, all of which I was more than happy with. All work was carried out quickly, cleanly and professionally with a perfect end result. I now have a great play area for the kids and dogs and would recommend leisure grass to anyone, which I have been doing showing it off to friends and family. Thanks to Paul and Ruth from Artigrass for a great job. Reviewed By Kevin Gray, Finaghy, Belfast.
